“INFOXICATION IS THE NEW INTOXICATION”

A journey from Overchoice to Infoxication

‘Overchoice’ or ‘Choice Overload’ were the alien terms up until 1970. Suppose you need to buy something – a baby gear, say a pushchair.

In the previous decades, you would go to a shop nearby and pick one of the few pieces available.

Today, you not only have a huge market locally, but also have easy access to countless pieces available online to choose from. Take amazon.uk only. Your search for pushchair will show at least 40,000 results! Overchoice. Isn’t it?

Obviously, you want to buy the best one that would fit your budget and needs. So, in order to decide, you will try to get more information about them – giving you the infoxication!

Infoxication, also known as ‘information overload’ or ‘information explosion’ is when you face difficulty in making an effective decision because there is too much information available about it. The advent of modern information technology has been a primary driver of information overload. Longstanding technological factors have been further intensified by the rise of social media.

And remember, scientific studies prove that when information overload occurs, it is likely to reduce in decision quality. In other words, you are more likely to make a bad decision. You don’t want that, do you?

This is where you need M-Approved! Simply reach out to M-Flamboyant on any of the following social media and become a part of M’s friends and family. This is where the bye bye to analysis paralysis happens!
